Are vaccinations included?
ARRF pets available for adoption are up to date on vaccinations and have had a full health check prior to entering their new home.
Are pets spayed/neutered?
ARRF pets are spayed and neutered prior to adoption unless they are too young or health issues prevent it. Should someone need assistance with spay/neuter: There are several low cost clinics available throughout the area. ARRF will contribute $35 towards spay/neuter with a grant at one of the many approved clinics.
Is a warranty offered on pets?
Rescue pets do not come with a warranty or guarantee. ARRF endeavors to place pets in the correct home once they are deemed adoptable. However, there is always an adjustment period to allow the pet and human to get comfortable. ARRF will gladly accept the adopted pet back into ARRF’s care should any unforeseen circumstances arise and the pet can longer remain safe and loved.
Recommended brands of pet food?
There are many great food products available. ARRF favors the higher quality Purina Brands. We have not experienced recall issues and they are available mostly everywhere. Check with your vet should your pet require a special diet.
